Columbia, MO's Logboat Brewing will open a second location in the city next yr, co announced on social media. The Midtown Taproom is set to open in Spring 2027 and "brings everything we care about into one place: delicious beer & beverages, genuine service, and a unique space designed for connection," co wrote. Logboat's existing location opened in 2014, but as recently as 2021 co's CEO Tyson Hunt said "we need to make more beer," reports the Columbia Missourian. Logboat is one of the larger craft bizzes in the Show-Me State, having reported 11.8K bbls produced in 2024 to the BA. Burial Beer Coming to Asheville River Arts District NC's Burial Beer is planning a new location at a property in the River Arts District that was devastated during Hurricane Helene. The co will take over the former Curve Studios location in the River Arts District, where around 80% of the businesses were damaged, reports WLOS. The Curve Studios location is more than 100 years old and "is a magical venue that deserves to continue to tell its tale," Burial Beer wrote on social media. The co plans to open the land to the public, which can share artistry and help make "the vision of Asheville's Greenway come true." It will be Burial's 7th location and 5th in Asheville, with the remaining 2 in Charlotte and Raleigh. Hofbrau Coming to TX Hofbrau USA is expanding to greater Dallas, with a new brewpub set to open in the Metroplex this fall, reports the Dallas Observer. The Addison, TX location will be the German beermaker's 7th in America. Hofbrau USA produced 4K bbls in 2024 per BA estimates and its brewpubs are known for their year-round Octoberfest feel and full menu of German food including kartoffelpuffer, jagerschnitzel, "radishes and rye and pretzels of all sizes," per report. PA Iron Hill Locations Set to Reopen Several Iron Hill locations are set to reopen under new ownership after the chain's abrupt closure last summer. Ironhill India, which operates 4 Iron Hill locations in that country, purchased 5 of the co's US locations through parent co Rightlane LLC and are getting ready to reopen Philadelphia's City Center location later this mo, followed by its Lancaster, PA location later in the summer, reports Lancaster Online. Brotherton Returns to South NJ South NJ's Brotherton Brewery closed just over 1 yr ago but will soon reopen under new ownership, reports 42Freeway. Located in a firehouse in the town of Atco, Brotherton operated for 10 yrs before announcing on social media that it would close on Mar 30, 2025, one yr after it produced ~1K bbls per BA estimates. Last week, Vantage Commercial Real Estate, representing both buyer and seller, announced the sale and imminent return of Brotherton with its original name and recipes with a target reopening date of mid-June. Freckled Jawn Replacing Eight & Sand Woodbury, NJ's Eight & Sand will close later this yr but will be quickly replaced by the new Freckled Jawn Brewing, reports 42Freeway once more. Eight & Sand is 10 yrs old, produced 1.2K bbls in 2024 per BA estimates and went up for sale last yr.
