It's a big day in Waltham, MA, where Mighty Squirrel today opened a 60K-sq-ft outdoor beer garden that will run thru Oct, reports Boston.com. It's the 4th location for brand that's popular in the Commonwealth and reported 17.2K bbls produced to the BA in 2024. The Gore Place Biergarten will operate Thurs-Sun, rain or shine, and will boast a food truck serving lobster rolls, clam chowder, smashburgers and more. There will also be live music, with a schedule to be released at a later date. CO's Pattern Break to Open in Former Sanitas Location, Focus on Low- and No-ABVs A new brewery is set to open in the space vacated by Boulder, CO's Sanitas when that co shuttered all 3 of its taprooms in December. Pattern Break Brewing will open in the Frontier Ave location with a "robust selection of low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beers," reports the Denver Post. Co-founder Dean Eberhardt also runs Hoplark hop tea, and has been using dry-hopping technology at another one of his cos, ReCraft Beer, that he plans to use at Pattern Break.The choice of the new co's name isn't an accident, as Dean's entering a tuff beer scene with eyes wide open: "What we're trying to do is critically ask, what has caused the stagnation in the industry and how can we disrupt the thinking of that to show what is possible going forward?" The opening menu "is expected to include a pilsner, hazy IPA and West Coast-style IPA, each coming in at 3.5% alcohol-by-volume," per report, alongside an "'unfinished IPA' that bartenders will flavor with the hop concentrate to-order at the bar."Trillium Outdoors on Boston's Waterfront Boston sports fans looking to drown their recent sorrows will soon have a new option, as Trillium Brewing is set to open outside the Boston Harbor Hotel on May 19. The outdoor location will be open on Fri and Sat afternoons until 9 pm to start, with expanded hours expected in the summer. It will be the 5th location for the co.Stoup and M&eacute;tier With Sea-Tac Popups Two WA state breweries will open pop-up taprooms at SeaTac Intl Airport for the upcoming World Cup. Seattle-based Stoup and M&eacute;tier will open separate facilities at the airport with capacities of 250 and 180, respectively. Two new taprooms. Mesa, AZ's Phantom Fox is expanding to greater Phoenix, with planned locations in Tempe and Gilbert, reports Phoenix Mag. The Tempe location is expected to open in Aug and like flagship Mesa location will have Goat and Ram pizzeria operating inside. The co, which reported 800 bbls produced in 2024 to the BA, will continue to brew its beer in Mesa and expects to begin work on its Gilbert location around the same time the Tempe biz opens.
