From F1 Driver Gasly Comes Minded Electrolyte-Rich Canned Hydrator Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly has entered hydration space with electrolyte-packed brand called Minded that attempts to straddle soda and water in a manner that seems similar to Yanni Hufnagel's new Pop WTR brand. Unlike Pop WTR, Minded avoids carbonation but sugar-free entry similarly attempts to get folks to drink more water by offering "just clean, ridiculously refreshing hydration that you&#39;d genuinely want to drink . . . A new category between water and soda." The 330-ml sleek-can entries boast 800 mg of unspecified electrolytes augmented by vitamins C, D, A and B12 with "no nasties." Can descriptor is "water + health." It's initially out in Berry & Pomegranate, Hibiscus and Peach & Rosemary flavors, priced at &euro;10.50 per 6-pk. After teasing brand for better part of a year, Gasly formally unveiled it at recent Monaco Grand Prix. It kicked off with promo offering winner 3 full-weekend passes to Barcelona Grand Prix (travel not included). He's latest athlete to try to leverage his cred in daunting sector where even Leo Messi - hat trick at World Cup or not - came up short.Elderflower Soda Maker Belvoir Sets New Brand Called Happi to Play in Clean Functional Space Belvoir Farm, the CPG offshoot of an elderflower farm in UK, is launching a functional line called Happi with fruit juice as its base and clean ingredient list, starting with Happi Hydration and Happi Digestion entries. The items, which contain no obvious trace of Belvoir connection in branding, have gone live on TikTok Shop, with Amazon and Ocado up next. Belvoir brand itself is known for natural elderflower sodas, lemonades, cordials and mocktails.Packed in 330-ml sleek can, Happi Hydration is sparkling entry that's12% juice and contains 92 mg of magnesium and 198 mg of calcium per can with sugar for added sweetening to tune of 53 calories per can. It's out in Blueberry & Lemon flavor to start. In same can, Happi Digestion is a noncarb entry containing 19% juice augmented by 2.6 g of chicory root inulin, ginger and turmeric, also with an added sweetening lift from sugar to tune of 50 calories. It&#39;s got same 92 mg magnesium and 198 mg calcium as sibling entry. Flavor is denoted as Ginger, Lemon & Turmeric. Premise, per co, is to offer "genuine functional benefits with flavors you&#39;ll actually want to drink again and again." Brand bears no relation, of course, to Happy Coffee from Robert Downey Jr and Craig Dubitsky.Terp Water Harnesses Terpenes to Offer More Intrigue to Seltzer Into cannabis-adjacent space will arrive on Jul 1 a new brand called Terp Water, which uses terpenes to offer an alternative to "same old boring seltzer." Debuting at current Hemp Beverage Expo in Austin, Terp Water is packed in 12-oz sleek cans and formulated from just 2 ingredients, carbonated water and natural terpene flavor, with no sweetener of any kind. Terpenes, of course, are the aromatic compounds from familiar fruit that in some ways legally mimic the effects of cannabis. Inaugural lineup is Blue Dream, Super Silver Haze and Maui Wowi, each built around a strain's terpene profile, tho "it's about flavor, not cannabis," per website FAQs. It's priced at $3.29 per can. It was formulated by The Flavor Co in SF, tho it's not yet clear to us whether they're the owner or a client of theirs.
